Desaster - black metal / thrash metal
Desaster to legenda niemieckiej sceny metalowej, która od 1988 roku łączy w swojej muzyce surowość black metalu z agresją thrashu. Przez lata grania po scenach całego świata, wyrobili sobie markę jednego z najważniejszych przedstawicieli gatunku.
Na czele formacji stoi gitarzysta Infernal, wspierany obecnie przez wokalistę Sataniaca, basistę Odina i perkusistę Honta. Grupa ma na koncie szereg kultowych wydawnictw, takich jak "Hellfire's Dominion" czy „Divine Blasphemies”, które zyskały miano absolutnych klasyków gatunku.
W 2025 roku zespół powrócił z dziesiątym albumem "Kill All Idols", wydanym nakładem Metal Blade Records. Materiał ten łączy klasyczny styl grupy z punkową energią, udowadniając, że mimo upływu lat weterani wciąż są w szczytowej formie i nie biorą jeńców.
