JÚNÍUS MEYVANT

Muzyk Unnar Gísli Sigurmundsson, urodzony i wychowany na Wyspach Westmana (Islandia), od kilku lat wydaje muzykę pod pseudonimem Júníus Meyvant.
Rok 2014 był momentem premiery jego nagradzanego i entuzjastycznie przyjętego przez krytyków debiutanckiego singla „Color Decay”. Utwór zebrał międzynarodowe pochwały w takich publikacjach jak KEXP, NPR, Clash Magazine, Line Of Best Fit oraz Gaffa. W kolejnym roku Júníus otrzymał Icelandic Music Awards w kategoriach Best Single oraz Newcomer of the Year.
Następnie wydał kilka albumów oraz odbył udane trasy koncertowe jako headliner na całym świecie (w tym występy na festiwalach Roskilde w Danii oraz Bumbershoot w USA). Dwukrotnie został zaproszony przez zespół Kaleo jako support na ich wyprzedanych trasach koncertowych po Europie w latach 2022 i 2024.
Po udanej trasie koncertowej jako headliner w 2025 roku powraca do Europy w 2026 roku na kolejne koncerty.
