Hitsujibungaku to japońskie trio alternatywno-rockowe, w którego skład wchodzą: Moeka Shiotsuka (wokal, gitara), Yurika Kasai (bas) i Hiroa Fukuda (perkusja). Zespół wyróżnia się energetycznym brzmieniem wzbogaconym o subtelną, emocjonalną wrażliwość.
Przełom w ich karierze nastąpił we wrześniu 2023 roku za sprawą utworu „more than words”, który pojawił się na końcu popularnego anime Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident. Piosenka zdobyłaogromną popularność, przekraczając 100 milionów streamów w Japonii, i trafiła na ich trzeci album studyjny „12 hugs (like butterflies)”, wydany 6 grudnia 2023 roku nakładem dużej wytwórni.
W marcu 2024 roku grupa wyruszyła w swoją pierwszą trasę po Azji — Hitsujibungaku ASIA TOUR 2024 — której wszystkie koncerty zostały wyprzedane. Zespół zyskuje coraz większe uznanie poza granicami Japonii, a szczególnie dużą popularnością cieszy się w krajach azjatyckich.
W maju zespół został wyróżniony przez oficjalny portal Grammy Awards, który umieścił ich wzestawieniu „10 Neo-J-POP Artists to Watch in 2024”. Ich najnowszy singiel „Burning” pojawił się na końcu drugiego sezonu hitowego anime【OSHINO KO】.
