Po czterech latach nagrywania i koncertowania jako członek popularnej grupy K-pop, południowokoreański wokalista Wonho rozpoczął solową karierę pod koniec 2019 roku. Jego debiutanckie single „Losing You” i „Open Mind” odniosły sukces, a pierwsza EP-ka Love Synonym Pt. 1: Right for Me zadebiutowała na szczycie koreańskich list przebojów.
Wonho, urodzony jako Lee Ho-seok w Sangbong-dong, zaczynał w połowie lat 2010. jako członek Nu Boyz, a następnie został jednym z założycieli zespołu Monsta X, wyłonionego w programie No.Mercy. Wraz z grupą nagrał pięć albumów studyjnych i siedem minialbumów, wielokrotnie zajmując pierwsze miejsca na Gaon Chart.
W 2020 roku Wonho rozpoczął działalność solową. Kolejne EP-ki – Love Synonym Pt. 2: Right for Us, Blue Letter z przebojem „Blue” oraz Facade – regularnie trafiały do Top 20 koreańskich zestawień. Jego muzyka zdobywa uznanie także na międzynarodowych listach Billboardu.
